GREECE, Heraklion, Crete. December 2011. The Lions square is the Fontana Morosini, the ornate Venetian fountain with four lions with water gushing from their mouths. Is one of the most important monuments of Heraklion and it stands in exactly the center of the city. Beside it's touristic value it is also the most known, among the locals, meeting point of the city.
